Initial reports from Saudi Civil Defense and various news agencies had indicated that two people, including an Indian national, were killed when what was widely described as a 'military munition' struck the area. However, subsequent clarifications established that the two fatalities were both Bangladeshi nationals. Alongside the fatalities, twelve other individuals were injured, including one Indian citizen who is currently undergoing treatment at a government hospital in Al Kharj. The strike, which caused material damage to the residential zone south of Riyadh, occurs against a backdrop of escalating tensions in the Gulf region. According to sources, the projectile was linked to Iran's Revolutionary Guards, who claimed the attack was targeting radar systems in response to earlier joint military strikes by the United States and Israel.
