UK unveils 25‑year Farming Roadmap as Groundswell marks decade of regenerative agriculture
The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs has published a 25‑year Farming Roadmap for England, promising clearer long‑term policy, financial support for low‑emission practices and measures to protect soil and water resilience. The government says the plan will improve farm profitability, strengthen food security and help meet climate targets. At the same time, the tenth anniversary of the Groundswell festival highlighted the rise of regenerative agriculture, with over 500 speakers sharing case studies of reduced chemical use, improved animal welfare and health collaborations.
