Vivo has officially unveiled its latest smartphone series, the V70 and V70 Elite, at an event in New Delhi, India, on February 19, 2026. The launch marks the successor to the V60 series and introduces two models aimed at the competitive premium mid-range market. Both phones are set to be available to customers starting February 26. The V70 series boasts significant upgrades, headlined by a collaboration with Zeiss on imaging. The phones feature a powerful 50 MP Zeiss Super Telephoto Camera and new AI imaging features. The standard V70 sports a 6.59-inch flat display, while both models are noted for their sleek design, which includes an aluminum frame and color options like Authentic Black, Canary Yellow, Authentic Gray, and Sandalwood Brown. Under the hood, the devices are powered by Snapdragon chipsets, with the V70 Elite featuring the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. A major highlight is the substantial 6,500mAh battery, supported by 90W fast charging. According to a hands-on review, the battery consistently lasts a full day, often extending to a day and a half with moderate use. The V70 Elite also retains high durability standards with IP68 and IP69 ratings. The phones launch with Android 16 and OriginOS 6, with Vivo promising an extended software support cycle of 6 years for OS updates and security patches.
