Affected users encountered blank timelines, 'Something Went Wrong' errors, and an inability to refresh feeds or post new content. Service began to resume intermittently for many users approximately one hour after the outage began, with full restoration occurring gradually. Despite the widespread nature of the disruption, the company has not yet released an official statement explaining the cause of the server-side crash. The incident highlights the platform's critical role in global communication and real-time news dissemination, with individual users and businesses facing immediate consequences from the service interruption. This outage is the latest in a series of technical issues for the platform.
