International Rescue Teams Search for Two Missing Miners in Flooded Laos Cave
International rescue teams are racing against time to locate two men still trapped in a mazelike cave network in Xaisomboun province, Laos. While five of the seven gold seekers have been successfully rescued after being trapped for 10 days, the remaining two have been missing for nearly two weeks. Searchers recently reported hearing a "knocking sound" from within the system, providing a glimmer of hope that the men may still be alive. Divers and rescue workers, including diver Mikko Passi, are currently scouring the area for a new entry point as heavy rains hinder efforts inside the partially flooded caves. The mission has entered its second week, with teams focusing on finding an alternative route to reach the trapped individuals safely.
